I am a registered nurse, with many years of IT work and IT management experience. I am interested in gaining experience toward a career as a staff nurse in a cardiac/telemetry or ICU unit. .My strength as a nurse is excellent verbal communication, while showing care and empathy for patients. While attending school at College of Lake County, I assisted in the care of a man in his home. I cared for older man in his home, managed vitals (q4 hours), G-tube feedings, insulin multiple medications, trach care, (including suctioning), exercise, nebulizer treatments, personal cleanliness, supply inventory, assessments and charting. |

Please say your prayers for the Dimock family of Wildwood, Illinois. Recently their son, U.S. Army Ranger and Eagle Scout Joey Dimock lost his life in Afghanistan while performing a wepons inventory. Joey is survived by Joseph (father), Ellen (mother), Louis (brother) and Michael (brother). Joey was a member of Troop 672 in Wildwood Illinois. I personally worked with Joey since he was 11 years old and a Den Chief for my cub scout den (7) in 2000-2002.
